The car does have an overhead console with map lights. Additional Comments: My Grandfather bought this car new 04/24/68 just a few months before I was born. In early September of 1968 My mother came home in this car with me as a newborn in her arms, long story short this vehicle holds a special place in the family. My Grandfather and I were very close and in 2000 my Grandmother convinced him to do something with the car soo she wouldn\'t have to worry about it if something happened to him. He asked me to take it home and I tryed to buy it. He said no, we parlayed a little bit and finally said \"ok son but I won\'t take anymore than ten bucks.\" He won....when I open the door and smell the interior its like I am a little kid again and going for a ride with Grandad in the \"Mustang\". So for myself and my family its a very \"Special\" Special.
