He then began a rebuild and restore project on it where he changed the paint color and replaced the carpet, and various other cosmetic and engine restoration. I bought it back from him after morgaging my house in 1990 for $10k. it is a beauty, and sits in my garage today, looking just like it did when i picked it up from him.
