1968 GT/CS Registry Form

How to Use the Online Registry

Use the three links above to navigate to the various pages in the online Registry.
See below for an explanation of each.

Use the Registry Search feature to find a specific car or range of cars. This powerful seach function allows you to find cars by color, trim, DSO, specific option and more. If you're looking for a specific VIN check the Master List.

The Master List will give you a complete list of all the cars currently in the online database, sorted by VIN.

Use the Registry Submit page to add a car into the Registry. First, use the Master List to confirm that your car is not already included. If your car is already in the Registry please see instructions below about updating info or changing ownership.

Is this a new Registry?

Yes and no. For several years this site collected Registry info for the Registrar at the time, Paul Newitt. It was then taken offline in 2009. Then in September 2011 Mike Jewell took over as Registrar. So the online Registry is now back, including the 400+ cars submitted online prior to 2009.

How to I update my car?

For security reasons updates to cars already in the online Registry need to be submitted to Jon Hanna (web site Admin). Please send an email to webmaster@californiaspecial.com with the following info: (Your name and state are made public. Your address, phone and email are kept private for the Registrar to contact you if needed)
  • Full name
  • Full street address
  • Phone number
  • Any changes to the car info
  • Explanation for the change (ie. car sold)

Thank you! Your time and enthusiasm is much appreciated and will help us all learn a little more about these rare cars.
