The last I heard, the Lone Star was up in the northeast, being restored for it's owner--the author of "The Shelby-Ferrari Wars".
It once was for sale on a car lot in Santa Barbara, CA. in the 1970's.
And--it was on the cover of the '68 Shelby Accessories catalog(with a hot model in a checkered bikini, who, BTW, is at least 60 yrs old today...<<sigh>>).
