I believe Mustang Monthly had run a article a few years back where they compared aftermarket to Ford. Nordan was the best aftermarket and I believe they found their chrome finish to be superior to that of the N.O.S Perhaps I can track down the article if you like.

I have a hard time relating the new model to the old. It does not have the same identifying features. Take off the GT/CS graphics from the new model and it would appear to be a slightly modified coupe. I find it very disappointing.
