How about Canada I ordered the GT500 JLT CAI intake shroud yesterday but I live in Canada. Not sure if the free freight offer covers Canada? If it does, that is great. Peter

I found this rad and fuse box cover at SS Inserts and have just finished fitting it. I thought it came up pretty nice. Had to cut a slot for the CAI, but all in all I am very happy with the result, it really tidies up the front end.

Classy Nice choice for first mod. I just ordered these for my GT500 as well, I think they are the classiest louvre on the market. First mod is just the beginning, now you will be hooked. :wink:

Why Seperate I am bit of a sleeper on this site, but I would not like to see it seperated. I really enjoy the old and new aspect of the site. I understand your point, and it could be quite valid, regarding attracting new members, so if you think it would help then why not just split the forums...

Hypertech I really liked the Hypertech for what I was doing. I liked the fact their tunes are set up for specific CAI's. I do believe there are large differences between the different CAI's and therefore the tunes should allow for this. Seems to have worked well for me. As I said above, I...

Just My Thoughts Paul I think a "kit" is a wonderful idea and I am sure there would be many takers. However not everything on the list will please everyone, so I would recommend making the individual parts available as well. I am sure there will be many interested parties. Peter.

Upgrades I have fitted BBK CAI and Throttle body, Magna Flow axle back exhaust, and Hypertech tune to this point. I am not going to go down the blower path at this point, but these mods certainly free up the engine. I ahven't had the car on a dyno, but I would mestimate around 40 horsepower...

Congrats!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations Paul You are obviously a very deserving winner of this award. Your enthusiasm and dedication to the Califoria Special is really something else. It is people like you who ensure that we get to understand the history of these cars and this history is preserved...
