    For Sale 1968 GT/CS Highland Green 289/302

Hey guys, it sold. :) I am very happy with who it went with. I agree with all of you about going with painting it and returning the vinyl top back to parchment (note it's not really "white" so it's not as bright and man it will look so friggin nice). Essentially it's all that "has" to be done...

    For Sale 1968 GT/CS Highland Green 289/302

Not all of the options work in the Convenience Group. Two of them do, the door and the brake light I think...but the Gas and Seat Belt. However the gas one doesn't work due to the previous owner not realizing that there was a module in the old tank when he replaced it. The good news is that you...

    For Sale 1968 GT/CS Highland Green 289/302

Hi everyone, Due to work, I am moving out of state and sadly need to sell my beloved 1968 Mustang GT/CS. It's originally a C-code car, that's equivalent to a J-code now. It's all numbers matching (yes, I still have the original manifold). Everything mechanical has been completely restored, from...

    1968 Another oddity

I don't know if all 68 Mustangs came with that special bracket, but I think you would have a better knowledge than I. :) I have wondered if my car, being for a local dealer and that it was for the showroom may have had a change during production from a full deluxe interior car to a partial...

    1968 Another oddity

A while back my roof liner fell apart so I ended up removing it. My car never had a dome light inside and I noticed it had brackets for an overhead console, yet there is no mention of this on my Marti report. I can imagine that the hood liner was replaced at one point and the upper console was...

    . Happy Birthday

Aww! Thank you both! While the actual birthday was focused all on work, my lovely wife made sure I had a great birthday weekend. :)

For Sale Wimbledon White/Black J-Code True GT

Not mine, but it looks like a good price for a true GT. Not much info in the ad, but it had a Marti.

For Sale Highly Optioned J Code in need of restoration

Given the date code and the DSO, I would assume it's a clone.

For Sale Highly Optioned J Code in need of restoration

http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/cto/5013919154.html You don't see them in this color combination every day. Looks to have a bunch of options, deluxe interior, convenience control group, tachometer, possibly a tilt away steering wheel, console, 4-speed. However, never saw this color before...

1968 Introductions - And bringing one back from the dead

I had thought that too p51...but you know these plates aren't terrible. It's a great looking car to being with right? :) However, I am going to get the originals back on. They aren't terrible, no rust damage, etc. But they are dented, have scratches, etc. I know that someone on here recently...

1968 Introductions - And bringing one back from the dead

I have the original plates. I am thinking that I might want to get them redone before I start jumping through the DMV hoops. However, it appears that the DMV won't be too bad. It's just single piece of paper to fill out and then I have to wait.

1968 Introductions - And bringing one back from the dead

Here are some more recent pictures. As you can see, I really need paint. :) But considering the car is almost 47 years old, I think that it has held up well.
