. I'm out, thanks for the memories!

If I was him I would contact Shelby about it. Or post about it on TeamShelby.com

. I'm out, thanks for the memories!

Thanks everyone. I hope to come back with a '68 someday. JBART, that sucks about your brother, I'd be upset too after spending that much.

. I'm out, thanks for the memories!

I went to my dealer last week and traded in my car for a new leftover '08 Shelby GT 'vert. The deal was too good to pass up. Thanks to all here for the info and pics shared. It's a great site. The new owner of my car contacted me and I told him about the site so he might sign on. Happy motoring...

    2007+ Need your opinion

Lambo doors are so played out that they don't put them on Lambos any more.

. How not to drag race

Nice Joe! Love that pic and the video. Glad to see you got into the 11's. Mine is still garaged for the winter.

2007+ new hood for my GT/CS

I have MRT's sequential tail light harness. They make some nice stuff. I met a guy at a show last year that had that '68 style hood. I thought the quality was very nice. Having the working turn signals in it was the best part. I like the red butterflys in Saleen's shaker but don't like all the...

2007+ new hood for my GT/CS

Yup, that's the hood I was thinking of. Looks great on a Bullitt. I took off my hood liner and measured and then went over to Tasca Ford to the Shelby mod shop and looked at some Super Snake hoods and decided the louvers would be too much work to try and make work in my stock hood. The hood is...

2007+ 07+ Cali Specials with a single hood stripe

Sorry, I don't remember the place I got them from. Do a search for "chrome letters" and I think you'll find some.

    2007+ "Weeping" windshield washers

Mark, I work in NYC, go down there twice a week from RI, I agree we have some nice areas here but I'm a summer person. In the winter I don't like to do anything outside. I did have a monster truck a few years ago but it was expensive to run. I just go on-line and plan for warm weather. And...

2007+ new hood for my GT/CS

Thanks Steve, I know how to drain the water that gets in, I meant I just had to measure where to put the tubing from the scoop under the hood to the filter so it doesn't hit anything and flows well. Also where I want to cut in and mount the louvers. I want to keep it clean as much as possible as...

    2007+ "Weeping" windshield washers

I've never seen that but I was crying thinking how you were at a show and I was watching it snow.

2007+ new hood for my GT/CS

I'm still working out the details. I want to make a ram-air to the filter from the scoop and make sure water getting in doesn't go everywhere. Same with the super snake louvers. If it's too much work I'll just wait and get a KR hood or a '67 GT500 style instead.

2007+ 07+ Cali Specials with a single hood stripe

I made the emblem from chrome letters I bought on-line. I have it on my engine cover also.

2007+ new hood for my GT/CS

I forget the companies name but someone makes a '68 style hood that is even closer in looks than the one above. I like the factory scoop myself and plan on making it functional plus I'm adding super snake louvers to the hood to get rid of heat. Plenty of choices out there that's for sure.

2007+ 07+ Cali Specials with a single hood stripe

Here's mine. Made it myself out of 7 year vinyl to mimic the side stripe. Oh, and welcome to the site!
