My high-pressure hose runs through the rubber insulator block on the side of the block next to the exhaust. Some pictures I have seen show the hose running through the hole next to the fender, which makes more sense to me. Which is correct? Thanks, Pat

Hi Neil: Yes, the "O" ring is in place. I used a little grease to hold it in place (per supplier recs). I first set the lock ring by hand, then removed the sending unit. the "O" ring stayed in place, then proceeded to re-install and lock it down. Pat

Neil: I just pulled the sending unit. It was very corroded, so I have just ordered a Scott Drake replacement. We have a busy day tomorrow and the car is up on a lift. Will do the check when I can. I am afraid the wire is shorting out and I dread replacing it (or chasing the short). Pat
