    I'm trying to figure out where the engine in my GT/CS came from. The vehicle Vin is 8R01C144844 built 02-29-1968 The cast block number just above the starter is 0/C80E-6015A 8K15 which I have read means it's a 302 block cast on 10-15-1968. So that means that the engine can't be the original...

    I bought my GTCS about 4 years ago and finally looked at the engine serial number. to my dismay it doesn't match the car. I would like to find out what year and type of car it came out of and if was originally built as a 289 or 302. Engine Serial No. 184521621 stamped into top of block...
