$24K. Looks like a GOOD deal. J code, P/S, P/B, A/C, Console, Deluxe interior, Vinyl top, Hood stripes. If it all checks out OK, someone will get a nice CS.
If I were in the market for another CS, I'd be making a road trip.:undecided

Did anyone else notice under the Engine Details, it says Engine History - Replaced. Maybe that's why its priced at 24K.

The ad also states:
"Restoration History: Partially Restored"

Looks like a pretty complete and well-conditioned car to me...

I am new at this. How can I tell if this is the real deal and not a fake? What else should I look for before investing? Thanks

<<<< Over on this side there is a heading for: 1968 GT/CS & HCS

Look at "How to Identify", that should get you going.

This one should be straight forward since the Seller says they have a Marti "paper" which I presume is the same as a Marti Report. The Marti should have the same VIN as found on the car and should identify the car completely.

I agree with it being partially restored. There are a lot of things that still need to be fixed.

Are those Marchal fog lights ?

They look like Marchals in the pics, the ad says Marchals, and being an early car (flush quarter reflectors) it should have Marchals.

I am wondering about Nugget Gold décor bucket seats, are the seats shown the correct seats?

I agree the color combo is very nice.

Just wondering what does it mean by the "black out hood treatment" according to the Marti report. Is it the black painted section behind the hood turn signals? Is it an option only for the J-code / Vinyl top cars? Just curious. Thanks.

IIRC, the black out hood treatment was a stand-alone option. Don't think engine option or vinyl top was a factor.
