If this is a true GT/CS (not sure) and if the auction is legit (not sure) this may be one of the first California Specials built. Its VIN is much earlier than Curtis' stage car.

The seller says "tan" interior, but it does look like the correct Nugget Gold to me. Although, I don't get the dark (black?) carpet. Not sure what is PC, but I'm putting Gold carpet in my Nugget Gold interior.
Anyone close enough to go see the car 'up close & personal'? Interestng-No Reserve price.

The Auto Shopper ad says $17,500. The E-bay ad says No Reserve. COULD be a good buy, if everything checked out OK.

Do the exhaust pipes look like they were cut off about 3 - 5 inches from the mufflers? 3rd picture from the bottom.

You're right, there are no tail pipes!
Are those helper springs on the leafs?

Hi,

In one of the ceiling interior picture, there isn't a dome light. Why is that?

EDITING: Oops me too!! I didn't read page 2 of the thread....

I guess then it needs only cutting a small hole and fitting of the dome lamp hardware and housing.

That is weird - it says the auction ended with no bids? Probably got an offer from someone local and did not want to pay the sales commission to EBAY.
