This is a new one on me: I've never seen a small block Mustang develop cracks in a shock tower. These are on the pax side, front & rear sides of the shock tower. Looks like a good penetrating weld will take care of them.

I have seen them on the BB but not on a small block. That one must have been ridden hard. Did Rob have it?

Nope, I don't drive hard.
Cameron?
That's a strange place for a crack, way above the bolt holes.

Told my girlfriend (now wife) Val when she took my 1968 Shelby GT 500KR out for a drive to "not let any Chevy's beat her". She came back and told me that it will go 130 MPH easily and no, the Chevy did not win!!

Got to "exercise" these ponies when you are out!! And then rub them down and put them in a nice warm garage!!!

My shock towers were similarly cracked on the GT/CS, both sides.
