I went to Carson City, Nevada for my grandson's 4th birthday, and got a chance to spend a few hours with Nate (nates68) and his wife Pat. Had a great time talking and having a few drinks at one of the local casinos.

Then, on Saturday, I took my "little boy" to the Nevada State Railroad Museum, and out to see the planes at the Carson City Airport. Had a GREAT weekend (and actually left the casino with a little bit more than I walked in with :cheesy:)

Hey, that's great Renee! Your grandson will cherish those times for the rest of his life. Outings as that are what kindled "planes, trains and cars for many of us, I'm sure :) I used to beg my parents for rides to the local airport when other kids went to the movies or skating rink. The rest is history....

So cool, your visit with Nate and Pat! I hear they have been to many car shows (with as many awards) this year as well. Thanks for sharing!

With family and friends in town, we did another of our casual drives along scenic Hwy. 174. Just a short hop to dinner with only three today. Too hot outside for the larger trip we planned originally...

Hey spoiler,
They're actually American Racing rims with 225/50 R16 tires. Disc brakes up front and so far, yearly maintenance of wheel bearings...
