Wanted: speedometer gears

Hey, while my husband has the 4 speed transmission apart he discovers that he needs the speedometer cable gears. The ones inside the transmission and the ones at the end of the cable. New or used it does`nt matter. Does it matter if it`s a toploader? Thanks
