2007 GT/California Special

This is my first Mustang which I purchased in November 2007 and really enjoy driving it. The transmission is 5 speed manual. I've added the Ford Racing Power Upgrade package which includes the cold air intake, performance tuning and louder mufflers. I also added the Ford Racing/Hurst Short Throw Shifter. The car came with a number of upgrades such as GT Appearance package, Sirius Satellite radio and the two black racing stripes down the center.

Glad to see that you got the CS decals ok. Told ya it was a good site. Looks really great.

I'm thinking about adding the Ford racing power upgrade package, and I'm wondering how much louder the mufflers are. I wouldn't mind a little more of the deep throaty rumble, but I don't want it to be annoyingly loud either. What is your opinion, please?

Mack, based on your comments, I think you would be happy with the mufflers from the Ford racing power upgrade. They idle a bit louder than the originals, sound great upon acceleration but you can hardly hear them when cruising in 4th and 5th gears. If you get the package, let me know what you think.--Ken
