1968 Marchal Mounting Hardware and sleeve

Just saw this thread. See attached PDF for the Sleeve you are looking for. I had a local machine shop make a set for me a couple years ago. The knurling they simulated with small cuts in the ends.

    For Sale Gt/cs swag!

I worked with Castiworx in California to do a rendering of my GT/CS recently. He put the design on his website for T-Shirts and Coffee Mugs in case anyone out there wants to get some GT/CS Swag! Much like my issue with being tall, finding cool GT/CS stuff is hard to find! LOL! Just wanted to...

    1968 Almost done!

I have a TKO 500 behind it. That's what was in it before. The funny thing was that now that the car has all new sheet metal up font it did not fit as well. When the whole front end was crooked it worked just fine. Had to do a lot of work to get it lined up just right. Moses I have seen that...

    1968 Almost done!

Motor is in! Just fits. The Global West Export brace I used before no longer fits. Monte Carlo bar is a little tight with the Distributor. Talking to Mike Meir, Inc about creating a custom export setup. Probably about 1" of clearance above the stacks to the hood.

    1968 Almost done!

P51 forgot to respond to you. Sorry I don't know some of the details. I'm a little knew to the EFI setups like this. A buddy of mine that has a shop is helping me. It runs off the Fast EZ EFI system. I ordered a Holley Sniper Tank. Was planning to use Aeromotive but they have a 5-6 week...

    1968 Almost done!

Cool! Will keep you posted for sure. I had originally tried to get the Inglese Setup that Fast is selling. What a joke. Ordered in September and finally gave up a couple weeks ago. Their customer service is really bad too. Borla guys are really good to deal with from what I can tell. There...

    1968 Almost done!

Rob I have a 408 Stroker I'm running in it. When I put it back in I'm installing a Borla 8-stack injection setup on it. Should be fun! Still have the original 289 and C4 for the car in my garage. Figured I'd save it for the next guy if he wants a boring car. LOL!

    1968 Almost done!

Been a long time since I've posted. Had meant to post a lot over the past year about the progress of the car but been too occupied! But you all know the story. Cut this out, weld this in, sand that, adjust the fiberglass, adjust the fiberglass again, then adjust it one more time. Ha! Just got...

    1968 Rocker molding removal?

Rick the moldings are trash. Really beat up bad. I went to visit my car today and came full circle on this. Going to keep the moldings. They had a car there similar to presidential blue with the moldings removed. It didn't look quite right to me. So I'm back on board with keeping them...

    1968 Rocker molding removal?

Ah, got it! Thanks for letting me know. I do like the look. My car is going to paint hopefully in the next month after body work. I noticed at a show last weekend a lot of people have been removing the rocker moldings from their cars. The shop doing the work felt I should remove them too. I...

    1968 Rocker molding removal?

Thanks! That really does look good. I see you got rid of the trim on the wheel arches too. I have been thinking about that too.
