Can some one tell me were the black wire goes with the square end on it?

The big black wire with a square block coming off the alternator going to the solenoid. What side of the solenoid does it go on? This is the harness for the big block with a tach.

At cjponyparts.com on there on line catlog part hw1622 shows a washer on top but they don't give you one in the kit. Thank you for your help.
