    1968 Would you like to own a T-code GT/CS?

I've owned mine for 11 years now and I've enjoyed the heck out of it. Upgrading from the 1 bbl Carter to a 2 bbl Weber carb has made a world of difference in drivability. Otherwise, it's all stock. The best thing was not having to freak out about gas prices last summer. I still get well over 20 MPG.

    1968 How many T-codes GT/CS were made?

According to Paul Newitt's 1989 book, there were approx. 130 T codes. Of those 80 were three speed manuals and 50 were automatics.

    Wheel Color

On wheels with "dog dish" hub caps, were the wheels painted body color or just plain black?

Would you like to have your Gt/CS restored to Concourse Trailered condition?

I had a friend who built a 68 Firebird to concours condition. He ended up with a 1:1 scale model of a Firebird becasue he couldn't (or wouldn't) drive it anymore. That's not a car (at least that's my opinion, I could be wrong).

    40th Anniv.GT/CS Registry Decals

I agree that two cars is too much for the decal. I would focus on the 68 CS.

    LED Tail Light Bulbs

I wonder how these LED bulbs would look in a GT/CS taillight. These look like they are very directional and might look very spotty. The standard 1157 bulbs get a lot of light dispersal off of the rear reflectors.

1/18th Royal Maroon Diecast Is Here

Log on to meijer.com to check store locations. Meijer's is a Michigan based chain. I know they have stores in Indiana and Ohio. I'm not sure about MN.

I picked one up at Meijer's today for $30. Thanks for the heads up that they were carrying them

    What was your first car?

My first car was a '68 Mustang coupe. It was Pebble Beige with a black vinyl top. At least it had a 302 in it. I replaced it with a '71 Mustang coupe before I even had my driver's license.

    Got Pebble Beige GT/CS??

I do remember seeing a Pebble Beige GT/CS in San Jose, CA back in 1980. The reason I remeber it is that it was the first GT/CS I ever saw and my first car was a Pebble Beige '68 coupe. I know it's not much of a lead, but I can testify that at least one was built with that hideous color.

    T Code GT/CS - What's it Worth?

I'm looking to increase the value on my insurance policy for my GT/CS. I've had it at $7500 since I bought it in '97 (which may have been overvalued then). Since then, I've redone the engine, chasis, and interior. Also the GT/CS seems to have appreciated over that time. I've seen a lot of GT/CS...

California Special: Its a 6 cil worth to purchase?

I may be biased, but I'd say keep it a 6. Dropping a V8 in it also means upgrading the rest of the drivetrain. And then it's not original. You didn't say how much they're asking for it. That will make a big difference. It won't matter that much that the sixes are less valuable than the eights...
