    653 versus 656

I found this answer to a question that was asked on an ebay listing for 653's "The 653 and 656 lights are very close. All parts are interchangeable. The 653 use a conventional french 3-pin bulb and the 656 use a H1 bulb. The glass on 656 say '656 IODE', no marking of '653' on the 653-glass. The...

Here is a photo of the seat prior to installing the supports. I think it fits pretty well. It droops slightly at the ends in the photo because there are no supports. I will have to fabricate a filler for the area between the bottom seat face and the floor. I will wait until I get a carpet in...

    Inerior Idea

You forgot to mention the blue radiator. I also like the high tech fade lines (white to red) on the steering column.

Start to finish 7 days. errrr make that years lol I had the bug sraying guy over the other day for my 3 month. He comes to me and says "I've been doing this for over twenty years and this is the first time I've ever seen a transmission in the pantry. My Fiance' calls it my mustang...

    Drum to Disk Brakes

I purchased a kit from Master Power Brakes. It will still be some time before I get it and the car on the road for a test. I can update when I install it and let you know how it goes. The parts look good.

    fog lights

I feel fortunate. (since I like the look of the marchals) My car was sold in July but still has the original marchals. Lazy dealer, the dealer didn't know about the recall or they just liked the marchals better and left them on the car.

I've seen a few photos posted of the round type sub-frame connectors. I did some painting this last week and thought I would share a photo of my square type sub-frame connectors. The second photo is my new rear seat brackets. This is what I came up with to mount my 2005 Mustang rear seat. If...

    Battery boil over

Are you using only distilled water to refill your battery? How close to the top are you filling it? Does it boil over leaving the same amount of water in the battery each time? Do you have a way to determine the voltage you are putting to your battery when it boils over? Does it only happen when...

Looking around online today, I found this photo. Is this a Shelby type hood on this GT/CS?

    New Members

Me thinks you put to much emphasis on number of posts rather than quality of said information. The seniors to whom you refer to as self absorbed were self absorbed when they were newbies as well. The only difference is that they have shared their opinions openly and freely over a period of time...

    Steering Wheels

Arlie, This is the wheel Tony Branda sells for $320. He sells the hub for $110 http://tinyurl.com/bxf9x I haven't seen one in person but I like the look best for this style wheel.

    rear window crank-coupe

The handles you have may be for the Torinos. I picked some up at the boneyard awhile back that looked like Mustang handles. The difference I found was what you have found. They look the same but they stick out farther. I don't remember what the part numbers were.

    New hood and scoop

I had a friend many moons ago who had his original steel rims widened. He was going for the stock looking wolf in sheeps clothing as well. It worked really well to get more rubber on the ground without being easily noticed.

Have any of you seen this cougar on Ebay? Alot of great detail pictures. The price was at $11,000 when I first started watching it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=4598461750&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT

    2007 Dodge Challenger

I won't be running out to buy one, I don't like the front grill. lol. I agree it won't sway a true die hard Ford guy but the guys in between. Yea, some will go that route. I think it does something else. It starts a modern muscle car war with non rice burner cars. This is just the start...

The New Registry Book: Which type of binding?

Paul My vote is for the hardbound with coil as a second. I think your sleeve box is a nice idea also. On Arlies electronic idea, I have come across adobe acrobat files that I was unable to save to my computer or open in an editor. I don't know what the encription was but I can find out for...
