I like and have only used the internal coil spring comressors. Youtube the procedure for which ever style of compressor you use. Removing upper arms is not necessary.

Photo. There is not a code 1A for interior. I think that the 1A on the warranty card is common, and means something else. Am color blind, but that interior looks ivy gold? Makes sense with Sea Foam Green exterior.

Arlie, the booster in the photo is typical for 1969. It is a Bendix booster. Midland would have been used in 1968, on a Mustang.
