On some of the 653 the mounting stud will swing back far enough to mount properly to the grille, if yours do then they are the same. The 656 were not stamped with a part number on the eyebrow like the 653 s hope this helps,

The reproductions are made by the same company that made them for Ford. There are no part numbers on the back of NOS Ford or reproductions. I have some in the Ford box & repro's, there is no difference.

When I rebuilt my box I used CV joint grease, works great !

C4 's hold 9 qts. if completly empty, start up with 4 qts. in trans. & add the rest right after start up.

Even though the block is a 302 it could still be a 289, Ford used 302 blocks butt installed 289 crankshafts & connecting rods. ( 289 & 302 blocks are diamensionally the same)

You can check with a few of the T-bird parts suppliers they use the same knob, If you need the part number let me know. Kurt

Parchment interiors came with a black dash & carpet.

If your original brackets are still good they can be installed in a modified 67 grille. I even used the original style aluminum rivets in the last one I restored.

I found a spraycan of Dupli-Color that matchs the original color pretty close, its DSGM 286 Camel M Hope this helps. Kurt

Has anyone noticed a difference in hood pin location from the right side to the left ? My left side seems to be about 3/8 of a inch closer to the edge of the hood. Thanks in advance to anyone that can check theirs. ???

65 to 68 are the same, you just need to glue on your old rear veiw mirror bracket.

Used original lenses darken with age. New NOS lenses will be lighter. I will check for numbers on an NOS set I have & post them. Kurt

check the wiring to the fuel injector , you can get a noid light that will plug into that injector harness, if it flashes with the motor cranking or running the harness is good. Check mechanicals,......bent push rod, broken valve spring, ect....
