    1968 Radio Install Question

I bought an original (from what I was told) 1968 Mustang AM Radio off Ebay. It came with the bezel and seems to be as advertised. The problem is when I attempted to install it it seems to be hitting up against the AC duct. The bezel won't sit flush due to the duct forcing the radio to sit at...

    1968 Hood to Cowl Moulding

I purchased new hood to cowl moulding and am about to install it. The new moulding includes small plastic "screws" but the old moulding seems to be glued on...I don't want to start ripping out the old moulding until I know what I'm in for (especially after my last round with the side windows!)...

    1968 Exploded view of door

    1968 Interior Paint Question

Just to update an old thread... NPD no longer carries the dark parchment so I decided to have some paint mixed. I am attaching the formula that I ended up using if anyone is interested. I also figured out that you can use a Preval sprayer if you don't have a paint compressor setup. The...

    '68 C code GT/CS on E-bay

My problem with this guy is that he calls Lime Gold --> Putrid Green. I have no problem with White but if your building a car to sell I don't think White is the intelligent choice. I consider White more of a personal preference color a lot like Lime Gold. If your building a car to sell you...

    1968 Interior Paint Question

I'm going to buy some 'Dark Parchment' from NPD and see if it matches better... Does anyone have a thought on whether to buy Lacquer or SEM (NPD carries both)? According to NPD SEM is good for hard and flexible surfaces. If I'm just painting the metal parts is lacquer the way to go? Thanks, Greg
