1968 Anyone know where i can find a retrogauge mini tach for 68 mustang?

Another suggestion while you've got the instrument cluster removed... ...replace the ammeter gauge with a voltmeter gauge from rocketman.

    . Mustangs Unlimited

Certainly appears like they're going out of business... I just went to their website. "30% off all in stock items" is the the first thing that pops up. And, as stated above, the selection is limited. Might be a good time to browse for some good deals...

    1968 Black CS Project

I did the same thing... Retrogauge mini-tach where the clock goes and an upgrade from ammeter to a Rocketman voltmeter. Keeps everything looking stock and makes folks in the know do a double take

    1968 Road Warrior 2

I'd vote for a black vinyl top as well. I've always liked that look. Also reminds me of the "Little Red" Shelby... have you thought of maybe adding a hood scoop as well?

    1968 Looking For Dealer Info

Here's a pic... found it doing a Google search on images... "Tuban Ford" https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/vintage-shots-from-days-gone-by.428585/page-3655 Mark Tuban Ford both Mountain View and Sunnyvale was the local Ford dealer since the mid 20's, in the early 80's he closed the...

    So, I did a thing...

Not sure how far along you are, but if I were doing a clone I would do one that exactly replicated (externally) either: (1) A "Little Red" Shelby clone or... (2) A "Green Hornet" Shelby clone (a bit more work but what a GT/CS should have been IMO) With resto-modifications of a 347 stroker...

    1968 Car randomly dies

From past posts, it seems that you bought (and installed?) the Pertronix relay to power the Pertronix coil and ignitor. If so, you can use the same wire that runs from the relay to the coil to hook to the electric choke (that's what I do). This wire will only be "hot" during "run" and not during...

    1968 Car randomly dies

Sheryl (some of the below is just review and/or obvious) Yellow is 12v battery voltage. The black-green wire (#297 in schematics) provides battery voltage to various accessories when the ignition switch is in the "run" and "accessory" position. For the life of me I cannot figure out exactly...
