Well I just finished putting together my gauge cluster for my 1968 Mustang GT/CS I believe in Sharing all my little secrets so here we go
With the help of
Tribute automotive
(Frank)
West coast Cougar
And
The tach man ( Gary)
I was able to do this cluster Tribute automotive supplied me with the 8000 rpm tachometer with redline
West Coast cougar supplied me with a 1967/1968 Cougar XR7 speedometer with trip reset then I sent the speedometer to the tach man and he calibrated it and refaced it to a 140 mph Mustang speedometer
Using the tachometer from tribute automotive
You don't need a factory tachometer wiring harness you can use the standard Mustang harness without the tachometer There's a few wires that you have to switch around on the back of the cluster And everything works light factory even the Oil and Alt lights work
Just wanted to share it with you guys
