removed the heater box [needs rebuilding] and carpet, the insulation needs replacing, i want to make it quieter, is the factory insulation kits good enough, or is it worth it using the DYNOMAT insulation? also the firewall plate between backseat and trunk, for safety any recomondations? what to use?
thanx

Dynomat would be much better than the stock insulation kits. The metal separator panel would be safer than the cardboard type, but again, it's not stock. Good luck with the project.

Extra sound deadening is a good addition - throughout the car. What shape is the front firewall insulation condition? (Good for sound & heat insulation) I like the idea of the metal partition behind the rear seat. Its not foolproof fire protection, but is far better than nothing or the cardboard partition. You could even add insulation on the frontside of the metal partition for more insulation, and it would not be visible.
