These are the only 100% correct & complete set of Marchal fog lights for sale anywhere for your pre April 5th 1968 production Shelby Mustang GT350, GT500, California Special GT/CS or Ford GT40. Check your Marti report.
USED pair in EXCELLENT condition. Totally complete & exactly correct. Made in France. Not incorrect reproductions.
The French lighting company SEV Marchal made many versions of these rectangular lights for many different cars. Only the type in these pictures are exactly correct for your Ford.
*Correct serial numbers in correct locations on the glass (as per original Shelby blueprints, last photo)
*Internal 'cat eye' diffusers
*model 9917 bulb holders
*Ba21s base globe style bulbs (not halogen like reproductions)
*Chrome-plated steel housings & bezels (no black paint)
*Correct plain bezel (no 'MARCHAL 653' engraving)
*Tubular spacers for mounting (not a Marchal part)
*No IODE or 656 lettering on glass
Totally complete with all the little special pieces which usually go missing. Ready to bolt on to your show car or daily driver.
This pair has perfect glass & vacuum-aluminized reflectors.
NOS 12 volt bulbs.
Original factory chrome is excellent. No dents or dings.
These were removed from a Mustang & carefully stored for decades.
Chrome bezels have no dings.
Chrome housings have no dents.
Glass lenses have no road rash, chips or cracks.
You will not find a better pair of unrestored, original Marchals.
These lights were assembled from parts dated from Sept. 1966 to September 1967. From my experience handling hundreds of Marchal lights, Marchal components rarely, if ever, have matching dates. Some dates were stamped in black ink, some were printed on labels, there is no consistency.
Lights supplied by Marchal to Ford were ironically sourced from parts originally intended for Ferraris. Ford vs. Ferrari indeed...
