For sale are a nice matching set of original Marchal fog lights. $299 ! Not reproductions that have 'IODE 656' molded in to the glass (which are reproductions of the version made after the correct lenses).
These are the earlier lens design that came BEFORE (1964/65) the exactly correct lenses. Made in France.
The chrome housings, chrome eyebrow bezels, wiring & metric mounting hardware are all correct for 1968.
Chrome bezels correctly have no engraving on top, and the correct 2 drip vents on bottom. (NO 'Marchal 653' engraving)
The slightly incorrect glass lenses have the serial number K11054 N 18cmAUF5m along the entire LEFT side edge.
Correct lenses have the serial numbers K11123 N 14cmAUF5m up the RIGHT side edge.
Factory chrome has some minor imperfections that will be hard to notice once installed. Original Marchal chrome plating was very high quality (much better than reproductions)
Vacuum aluminized reflectors are perfect. Very important for function, and this old process cannot be duplicated.
Correct 12 volt 45 watt incandescent tungsten filament bulbs included. Ba21s base Marchal 'globe' bulbs. As originated by Marchal in 1923.
Totally complete, ready to bolt on, no little bits to search for.
$299 is less than the price of incorrect reproductions. Buy (slightly) incorrect original Marchals instead !!
