    Window handle knobs

Good to know, thanks! So what's the easiest way to get them out of there without damaging the handle?

    Window handle knobs

I'd like to clean up the interior window crank handles and get the corrosion off, but I can't figure out how the knobs come off. Maybe it should be obvious!

    1968 Looking up history

So, my car has kind of a weird history. I'm from a super small town, and my mom owned the Mustang for 30 years. We took the oil pan off to fix some nasty leaks and while we were scraping the old gaskets off, we noticed that all the crank throws had engraving on them--so the engine has been...

1968 Had a kid stop by and beg me to sell him my CS

I had a guy pester me at Advance Auto the other night, I didn't even tell him a number. Just said "no."

    1968 Old advertisements?

Hey all, I love old ads. (graphic design & journalism nerd) Is anyone reproducing the CS magazine ads? It would be fun to find a few and frame them.

    1968 don't MESS with Renee!....

Heh. I actually got dumped by a boyfriend in high school when I was working on my 69 coupe. He didn't like me with grease under my nails, or maybe it was the time I fixed his truck for him when he didn't know what was wrong with it. Dumb boys.

    1968 Kind of a new owner ...

Oh I'm sure we were! She sucked down the gas (12-13 mpg on the freeways, almost 14 on the two-lane twisties) Tach is on the list. All this math to figure out how fast I'm going or how far until I need fuel again is a PITA. Also, that oil leak is REALLY a doozie. It sat on sand before so I...

    1968 Two Painless kits ...

The factory stuff is that much better? Really? How? I mean, if it saves us $600+, that's $600+ that can be spent elsewhere :D

    1968 Two Painless kits ...

$230 difference in price? Husband--electrical guy--says the Stang needs to be rewired. I'm no expert but what I've seen is a corroded, taped, mice-chewed mess so he's probably right. Painless shows two kits--a universal Ford kit for $600, and a Mustang-specific kit for $830. What are you paying...
