    Signing off

Some of you remember me from when I was a regular in here. It was fun, informative, and interesting. Talked to some of you regularly, others I know personally. Enjoyed viewing the cars. I have sold the '66 along with all of the mystery behind it. It is going to San Diego for restoration possibly...

    '06 Mustang "CE" Calif. Edition

It doesn't look ANY different than the standard Mustang other than the tiny changes to badging. Whoopty ding-dong. Not enough of a difference to make me look twice. Now if they had actually DONE something to the body (like in '68) to differentiate it from all the other mustangs out there...

    GT/CS on eBay

But he did at least tell people in the disclaimer about this website. If they are really observant and interested, they will come check it out here.

    Special GT/CS watches?

What about those ads you see in those "skymall" magazines on airplanes. There's almost always one about having watches with a company logo or the like in there. I wonder if those are any better? Or is it possible to have a watchmaker make an "applique" or something like that to a watch that you...

    Special GT/CS watches?

I just thought the idea was cool. Never meant they were "quality", or that I'd actually buy one.

    Special GT/CS watches?

This website was posted to another room I frequent and thought this was pretty cool. Someone making a GT/CS watch. I think the company is in Australia though. hmm http://www.drivetimewatches.com/mustang.htm

    '71 Eleanor?

I remember seeing that car in Popular Hot Rodding a few years back. It's pretty fugly aint it. The kid who was building it was trying to build a "crossover" between the two Eleanor's from both the movies. The '71-'73 Mach 1 with the '67 Shelby. IIRC, it is a '73 since it had the body color...

    66 Dearborn built HCS

Please read the ENTIRE (really long) post as it explains some things about this car. I had pics on my now defunct website. I have a new website I'm building since the old one had issues. I will get those pics up ASAP. I'm willing to send pics directly if interested. Okay, to the MEAT of the...

    66 Dearborn built HCS

I wonder what it's worth by weight as scrap. I'm tired of frackin' with this car, but it would be a travesty to part it out due to its rarity. Guess I could donate it to some children's hospital and write it off. ::)

    Talk about Sticker Shock!!!!

Yet he couldn't even dust the car off before he took the pics??? lame!!! 172K, yet he can't afford a car cover or a California duster???

    For Sale: 1968 California Special

The problem with that is, how you get it off. You pretty much have to use a heat gun and pray you don't screw up the paint, and then pray there wasn't any fading of the paint it was applied to. That would look even lovlier, eesh! ::)

He would have, except he already has another '68 in his garage he's smack in the middle of. He doesn't have the space. I was just over there yesterday and it's coming along fairly well. New side scoops and taillight panel fitted expertly by his main body guy Jim. Getting it as ready as possible...

Marti reports only go back to '67 and Bob knows quite well about this car. In fact he and I are friends as we live crosstown from each other and he's helped me move it a few times (as recently as yesterday). It was Bob's camera we used to take the pictures for the "Rare Finds" article done on...

Nope. A CAC is pretty much worthless. I've requested them mutliple times, and even if I had one all it would show is a VIN and bucktag breakdown.

    Plates: Black or Personalized

Yes it IS real. Sorry I've been out of the loop for over a year guys. I've been busy with a new job working with Homeland Security and restoring a '69 Sportsroof into a quasi Shelby Boss 302 TA racer. I haven't touched the HCS in 3 years and it's currently for sale. Check out my website for...
