I talked to the owner on the phone and we struck up a deal on the car. I was on my way to London for a week and told the seller we would talk when I got back. I asked him to send me the VIN number while I was gone so I could verify it was a CS (he stated someone else had verfiied it at some point). I never got a response from the seller about the VIN even though I told him I wanted the car. He did say it was originally a J code car but had a 390 in it presently. He also stated he has the gas cap and original hood. We agreed on a fairly cheap price for the car.

I have a slightly bad vibe about this seller. He is selling a few other cars as well and it seems like no one has gone through with a sale.

Another example of why a registry with all the VINs is a good idea.

I`d say this car looks questionable. Looks like somebody threw it together and slapped a paint job on it to sell it quick. The lines on the hood and drivers door don`t seem to match up very well. The stripes on the roof don`t seem to line up with the ones on the hood. I bet its been raced alot in its lifetime too. Rhonda

It's also being listed on Collector Car Trader Online also. I just love the fact that the dash is a blue color with dash pieces laying in the passenger side floor board. Looks like a quick put together for fast sale to an unsuspecting buyer. You know the old adage "BUYER BEWARE". I think this applies here.

I also wanted more info and he ignored my requests beyond telling me that it is a "J" code car. He must not want to sell it as bad as he says he does!

Well I'm no CS specialist, but he also removed all the side markers front & rear. Which resembles a 67. There is an interior shot of the yellow Mopar though too.
