I have recently become interested in finding a nice classic Mustang and really like the CS cars. I was wondering if anyone knows of any nice manual transmission CS's that are not projects. Thanks!!

I can tell you that 962 California Specials were made with the J -code 302 4v engine and only 218 were 4 speed. I spent 4 years trying to find a genuine 4 speed GT/CS placing wanted ads in this forum and also on other forums. There are probably a few of 289 4 speed available and a few S -codes too but are very very rare and $$$$. Place a wanted ad here and see whats available out there. Hope it helps!!

There is also Rich's old 3-speed J-code. Last I saw it was on eBay.

Edited to Add:

Looks like it ended up here

Thanks for the numbers. I can do it one further.

962 - J code 302-4V GT/CS.

658 with automatic.
218 with 4 speed manual.
86 with 3 speed manual.
