Strange that it only has one wire running from it also. Wonder what happened to the other wire?

Hey guys I am back on line and now in Macon, GA and saw this post (I had about 70 unread, you guys are sure busy). On the original Marchals, there was only one wire for power, the ground attached to the inside of the light which inturn connected to the car by the attaching bolt, therefore no ground wire.
