Been asking alot of questions so I thought I would let you guys know who have been answering the questions and anyone else who cares that I did find a GT/CS today. It is a 390 x code in pretty good shape, the big guy is really looking out for me. In the past 3 weeks 3 deals have fallen through, took a couple trips to look at a couple and they were not as advertised and then this falls in my lap. I think I will go to the casino tonight. anyway thanks in advance, you will hear alot from me, I happen to be very inquisative thanks Chuck

That CS has been listed on that site for a long time ... either the site isn't being updated, or, frankly, it may be priced a little too high ... ::) ;)

I just looked at this car and frankly it looks like a solid $35,000 car. He's a little high but come on y'all.

Seriously, if people stopped selling GT/CS's for 10-20k people who wanted one would pay more.

When Ford comes through with a new GT/CS, we will definitely see a rise in the demand of our cars as the awareness of them increases. I don't see how they can't advertise the heritage of this model to promote it. Especially with all the beautiful examples still on the road today.

If a Shelby can go for 70-80k we should be able to get half that. This car may sell for $39k yet.

He may also be the guy who built his car and is driving it until some guy in the "more money than brains club" comes along who wants it more than he does.

well said NFRNTAU.
I see a few things working in our favor of price appreciation: 1) "a rising tide lifts all boats". I know a goofy metaphor but as the prices of virtually all muscle cars from the good 'ol days goes up we will too. 2) people showing their CSs and HCS in shows and getting folks educated on the history/uniqueness of the car. 3) Association with SAAC. I think this one could be a nice catalyst for recognition. 4) If Ford does come out with a new CalSpecial then all the better.
And when was the last time you drove your shares of General Electric? Even if my car goes up only a little each year my satifaction level is much greater than other investments. I should stop now.
