Hi All,

I am in the process of pulling the engine out of the '66 and gonna get it rebuilt.

I've got everything removed & disconnected and I am ready to pull the engine.

I am puzzled by the engine mount bolts. They had a nut on the back, which I removed. BUT the bolts are so loose I can remove them by hand, there is absolutely no tension on them. I would have thought that since they are holding the engine up, I would have had to raise the engine a little to get the bolts to slide out. Both mounts (right & left) are the same.

What am I missing here?

Thanks, Dave

That's perfect. It just means all the parts fit together properly.
