I am working on cleaning up the engine bay and repainting the neglected parts. Took care of the engine and valve covers today. Cleaned up the hoses, etc. Eventually I will replace the spark plug wires with the correct ones.

One thing I am unsure of painting is the power brake booster and master cylinder. What color paint are they supposed to be? Right now the master cylinder is all rusted and the po never bothered with the brake booster when he installed. Greatly appreciate the help-thanks!!

The booster should be semigloss black. The master cylinder can be black or natual cast but as you said they rust. I use a POR-15 or a product like it, that the brake fluid won't remove. Good luck Marty

Thank you, I really appreciate. I was leaning towards the semigloss black for the booster after researching pics on it. Think I may replace the cover for the master cylinder with a natural finish, seems pretty affordable the one I found from Scott Drake.
