Oh I had a set of winter tires on my CS once (in Nebraska) and I wiped out all the time, so I put my fat summer tires back on and it handled much better.
I was a kid when I lived near Amarillo, ~8 or 9. I remember snow drifts that were huge. It would be interesting to be there now and see what my perspective would be.
I was in San Antonio in January a couple of years ago, does that count? Walking around in shirt sleeves, ate lunch at Hard Rock Cafe-outside, and the river wasn't even froze over.
