Wow, this picture goes way back. Way back to the spring of 1977. Check out the killer snow tires. The other 2 cars are a '50 Buick and a '72 GMC.

That must have been when you lived up here. I don't imagine they even sell snow tires in Texas.

Oh I had a set of winter tires on my CS once (in Nebraska) and I wiped out all the time, so I put my fat summer tires back on and it handled much better.

Love that 50 Buick!

<~~~~~~~~Has been to Amarillo in the winter!

I was a kid when I lived near Amarillo, ~8 or 9. I remember snow drifts that were huge. It would be interesting to be there now and see what my perspective would be.

You ever been to Amarillo in the winter?

I was in San Antonio in January a couple of years ago, does that count? Walking around in shirt sleeves, ate lunch at Hard Rock Cafe-outside, and the river wasn't even froze over.

That's the beauty of Texas. It's so big, there's a place for every taste.

I bought it in January with the tires on it and the $395 I paid for it took every penny I had. I ran with those snow tires for quite a while.
