1968 Strange Coil Springs

Has anyone seen springs do this over time, or did someone 'adjust' them?

Never seen that one before! Would be afraid someone heated and shortened them as a "fix"... but may be fatigue... very odd.

I would guess torched, to lower front end.

Yep - find a flat piece of driveway - set some jack stands or block to the height you want the car to sit (between the ground and the forward frame), then heat them till the front end drops to where you want it.
