Took a couple of pics of Walter after a bit of paint work. Trunk was very oxidized and the original paint needed some careful attention. The results are not bad for a 48 year old paint job!

By the way, Walter is the name Sara gave her car. Its the first name of the original owner from whose estate we purchased the car.

Walter looks awesome. Wish my 8 year old paint looked as good. Keep the pictures coming.

Walter is looking good indeed. The name suits it.

Thanks. We've decided to leave Walter exactly as he was with his original owner for 46 years....painted valve covers, quirky air cleaner, hood scoop, bad chip touch-ups and all....

That is a great piece of American car history, and looks like you have a great investment. Is that a new power steering pump?....if so, where did you get it?
Looking good.

The PS pump was on the car when we bought it. I assumed it was the original one. Maybe not?
