Temps in Sacramento have been rather hot. I hope to make it on Saturday afternoon - evening over at Tim's after work (I get off at 4pm) I'm only an hour away from Tim, and if anyone needs directions, I can help too.

Very cool are the leaves changing color yet? I was there in NH in Oct 07, visiting my cousin the leaves were colorful.

..Maybe if the get together was on Saturday as my schedule permits it. But, Sunday would be no good for me. I work at night and Might have to report for jury duty.

Happy first day of fall everybody - even though it doesn't feel like fall here. As summer fails to say goodby. Tempatures are in the 100s right now. I hope that it cools off soon. Hope it is much cooler were everyone else is.

I'm back after a long break. I just have to get caught up with all of the posts and with the new members. I just had a lot going on, too much changes that took place it seems all at once. I look forward to hearing from all of you.

Yeah gas is expensive here in CA it's now over $3.00/per gallon for regular here.

Yeah, being from California I have seen lots of fires, esp. durning the months of Sept - Oct. I was flying back to CA from NH in Oct of 07 when the Southern CA firestorm. I could see the plumes of smoke from all of the fires.
