Go to your local welding shop and se if they hand a 1 inch diameter x 4 or 5 inch long piece of brass. You can put that on the stud and hit it with a 4 lb. Sledge hammer. It only takes a few hits to drive them out. Reverse to drive them in. You can use a deep socket as a hollow backing support...
