1968 CS emblem snapped

Does anybody have any advice how to repair a "California" emblem. It snapped between the A and L. It's a pretty clean snap. I'm just not sure what type of adhesive to apply. It's an or, was an NOS so I would like to try and save it as these are getting more and more difficult to find. Unless you have lots of $$$$$.

JB Weld might work, but I think you will still want to find a replacement.

Jb weld, muggy weld(low temp solder). Using regular emblem adhesive tape as in modern cars . because you have a clean break I would make clay impression cover with plastic wrap lay the script in to hold securely apply tape ,trim with xacto blade and carefully but back on.
