    67 Convertible Build

I have spent a little more than a year chasing the bugs out of this car. It seems that I may finally be done chasing them. Yesterday I felt confident enough to take it on a longer trip. It was a cold but beautiful day in Nebraska so we thought we would make a trip to Indian Cave State Park to...

1968 Condolences to Member Dan Teets

Bob Teets was the HCS register for many years. He and his wife Shirly started the registry. We lost Bob several years ago and Dan texted me that she went home to be with Bob today. The Teets family was one of the greatest Mustang supporters I know. They are missed but their work on the registry...

1968 Marchal Fog light clearance to grill

I have not restored a 68 GTCS that had the Marchal fog lights before. It seems that to even get them level the back of the light touches the grill. I love to see pictures of this area if you can help.

    New Shop Sign

This Saturday will be my 50th class reunion. I am hosting it at my shop and thought I need to make things look better outside so I did this sign and flower bed. BTW that gear weighs 1000 pounds.

    1968 Dad's GTCS project

Dad bought this 68 GTCS project last November in Wisconsin. His Christmas dreams of having the car back from paint came true just a bit early. Dad is 91 and I have to help him, but I am blessed to still have him and share a hobby with him.

1968 Topeka Kansas MCA national show

I am wondering if anyone from here will be able to attend the MCA national show in Topeka KS. this weekend? It would be great to have another get together like the one in Lincoln NE in 2018. There is a national in Des Moines IA. and Gravois Mills MO. plus the 60th anniversary celebration in...

    1968 2022 GTCS/HCS gathering?

There is a MCA national show May 20-22nd at Suisun City CA. I was wondering if there was any interest in a gathering like we had in Lincoln NE in 2018? If so I would need to ask the hosting club if this would be possible.

1968 Driving the S code GT

The 68 S code was running well enough that I thought I would take Tari out to eat tonight in it. There is a drive in restaurant about 30 miles from here that I thought would be a good test for it. We cruised there with no problems and had our dinner. When is driving a GT a good thing? Well it...

    New Shop Space

I have wanted a lift in the shop for years, as most of you know it does not get any easier getting up and down as you get older. With my current car projects finished and no shows to attend I decided it was time for a lift bay. I added a 16 X 30 to the end of our shop that has 10 foot side walls...

    . Fall drive

Yesterday we drove our 68 HCS 400+ miles on a trip to check on a possible new project. It was a sunny day with temps in the 50s. As I was driving I thought there could not be to many of these days left in Nebraska. With all of the MCA shows canceled in 2020 it was great to get out and put a few...

    68 S code coupe

My other project is a 1968 390 GT coupe that was a basket case apart for all most 40 years. It is candy apple red with black C stripe and black interior and a 4 spd transmission. I have not taken many pictures of but in this one you can see I am all ready up side down in it. LOL I could not...

    68 R code coupe

Rob's Cougar post inspired me to post some pictures of a 1968 428 CJ that I restored and finished last summer for a friend. It has a 4.30:1 rear axel. Man is it a hoot to drive, factory race car.
