Wanted Used Original 1968 Ford Mustang Air Conditioning Dash Control & Vent Panel LH

The 68s are most often broken at the bottom where it is thin. The 67 will work but it is a one piece. I do not think they reproduce the 68.

For Sale 1968 GT/CS at Mecum Harrisburg Sat 7/26

Now I am not sure what that is. A buck tag would typically be mounted beside the hood hinge with a Phillps head screw. When I first saw it, I thought was a damaged cowl brace. We need a better picture.

Nope, that is the hex screw that holds the splash shield.

I do not see a buck tag.

    1968 U Tube video - Dad

Here is a link to a video about my dad and the GTCS he is restoring. https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?&q=jerry+heasley+youtube+91+year+old+man&&mid=6DCC097EB0ACE11391D16DCC097EB0ACE11391D1&&mcid=CA0708B1646247C9B9734D8EE7A6AD19&FORM=VRDGAR

    1968 concours trunk

3/4 - 1 inch. A Marti report will have a lot of that information. If you have a deluxe interior the clock was part of that option. No, I would not consider April an early GTCS.

    1968 concours trunk

1968 trunk mat was either a splatter pattern without stitched corners, or a grey felt mat. A very few very early cars used left over 67 plaid mat that had stitched corners. The gaffers tape was placed on the RH wheel well somewhere near the center. The line worker did not care to be exact. You...

1968 Very weird issue - odometer ten-thousand's digit is spinning!

There used to be a place in Rosco IL. That did instruments. Tachman might do them.

    Congrats well deserved.

    1968 Trunk Weatherstrip

I cannot say why someone used studs, but bolts are correct. Maybe it was same guy that put the weather strip on the body.

1968 Very weird issue - odometer ten-thousand's digit is spinning!

Very strange. I would guess it is either lubrication or gear malfunction. I have some speedometers for parts.

1968 Power Steering control valve leaking after rebuild

Hats off to those who try to do everything themselves. For me I find those that are experts and know all the trick and know how to fix the problem. Sometimes things are worn beyond fixing. Rodger Rhodes in Ohio is the man for power steering. Rode's Restoration 1406 Lohr Rd, Galion, OH 44833...

    New Shop Sign

This Saturday will be my 50th class reunion. I am hosting it at my shop and thought I need to make things look better outside so I did this sign and flower bed. BTW that gear weighs 1000 pounds.

For Sale 300 mile High Country Special

Yes, that was our car. I think it has 300 miles on it since restoration. I think I sold it for 45K 6 years ago. I wish all my cars went up that much in value. It is a super nice car though.

For Sale 1968 GT/CS for sale on Facebook - 289, C4 - Fort Mohave, AZ

It may be an HCS. We need a Marti report. It has the correct taillight panel. For some reason they blacked out the chrome taillight bezels, probably bad chrome.

1968 Brakes pull hard to the right - front power discs, rear drums

I would try 2 or 3 emergency stops from 25 -30 mph. Then look at the skid patterns. Doing this may reset them. I would find a big parking lot and be ready to hang on to the wheel.
