    1968 Lowlife on Facebook using Neil's photo

    Just received a Facebook friend request from a 'Neil'. Looked at the photo and realized that some lowlife has taken Neil Hoppe's picture and is using it to try and get people to accept his request. Pretty sad!!!

    1968 Hood twist locks help

    Mine had the springs installed under the hood. I referenced the GT/CS guide and re-installed them with the springs on top of the hood part. Much better!!

    I just checked mine and the tag sits over the pad. Pretty sure it's original.

    Yes, that is Al's car. It has been through two owner since he passed. First in Washington and then Oregon. Changes have been made. One of the giveaways is that his was 1 of 1 on the headrests.

    It also has the Shelby style taillight panel, but we know that's not original.

    If that is Al's car, the cap has been changed. I saw it many times and it had a GT cap on it.

    I seem to remember an article in Mustang Monthly years ago. The Branded feature was developed by Ford to help dealers move cars that were slow to sell, either new or used.

    I have tried to find a plate frame from my car's dealership (Cecil Whitebone Inc) to no avail. Perehaps they didn't even have them.
