    1968 Coil Spring R&R

Yes, it does look good. When you say the the one inch drop, you are referring to just the coils and not the one inch Arning Drop. Correct?

    1968 Coil Spring R&R

Below are the stock ride height specs. As you can see, the spec for the rear is 1.4" lower than the front. Currently, the car is at 26.6" front and 25.1" rear. So, 1.5" higher than the rear. Originally, the cars were not "level" appearing as the rear was lower. Yours would seem to be...

    1968 Coil Spring R&R

I would agree. However the springs in there now are a known quantity. If I got lower springs, they might be too low for my liking. So then I have to get less low ones and try again. If they are not low enough, then get lower ones or cut the new ones that are not low enough. I know if I cut...

    1968 Coil Spring R&R

On my '68, I am going to remove my front coil springs in order to cut them down a little to lower the front end height. P.O put them in four years ago now and have about 1,500 miles on them so I think they are settled. No, I am not going to do the Arning drop as the car is stock. 1) Do you guys...

For Sale Aqua GT/CS in Michigan

Lost its hood pins, grill, fog lights and front of fender stripes. Probably a front end collision and they used regular parts for the repair.

For Sale Aqua GT/CS in Michigan

Looking at the inside of the trunk, I would argue "This car has absolutely zero rust."

For Sale 68 GT/CS in Florida

Looks like a decent one. No VIN or Marti info and it has a price of "Inquire" which always turns me off and hints that it is priced too high. https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/ford/mustang/2484218.html?refer=alert&utm_source=alert&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2021-04-28#&gid=1&pid=1

    1968 Wide ovals or Polyglass

Beautiful. Where did you get the 10 spokes? Are the tires radial? What size? Thanks.

    1968 Getting some rare option

Was that a true defroster (i.e. had a heat coil or just a blower as in defogger?

1968 Green Hornet Special on History

Carroll Shelby may have had something to say about the whole car looking just like a Shelby but without the performance upgrades.

Neil, What size tires did you use?

    1968 Wide ovals or Polyglass

You can get the Wide Oval or Polyglas designs in radial tires. Many of the classic tire companies have them. I still have not made the move to get my 10 spokes and as they will be 15" I will need to get tires also. My last GT/CS had the 10 spokes and blackwalls. While not as "racy" I liked...

    For Sale '68 gt/cs

Looks like a nice one. I really like Meadowlark yellow. A week before I went off to college a 1,000 miles away, My dad bought a '69 Torino GT 2 Dr coupe in that color with black vinyl roof and interior. A very pretty car. Wish the seller had posted more pictures.

    1968 Getting some rare option

My car has one but it is not on the Marti. Guess that means it was purchased through the dealer or from a private party at some point. It works but have never had occasion to use it. Mine does not get driven in the rain and I am to old to be steamin up the windows!

For Sale GT/CS (Possible Prototype) with Michigan DSO

Yes it could have been crashed and the hood was replaced also as there are no hood locks. If you get more pictures they may show the hood lock retainers on the radiator support. Or no trace that they were ever there. Also, could a production car not be built exactly as a prototype might have...
