For Sale 1968 Ford Mustang HCS (California Special) - $17790 (Langhorne, PA)

I could come by and help you out, Bob And it certainly helps that you know me (referring to Robert Teets) I guess, I seem to just be driftwood in a sea of cal's and hcs (figuratively speaking of course) here

Man, drums on a 390...The power isnt the rush, its hoping you can stop haha. Well i appreciate the responses as i learn new things about these cars everyday. I mearly asked because the car is missing noticeable attributes, that are key to GTs so thats why i wanted to ask you guys first about the...

1968 68 GT with drum brakes?

Really? I had no idea, it just seemed a little weird that he didnt mention it in his listing is all, I dont like to call anyone liars thats why I'm asking. Learn something new everyday Only reason why I was wondering was from what I have learned, 67, disk brakes were an option for the gt/gta...

1968 68 GT with drum brakes?

Hey all, Quick question, there is a fella on ebay selling a 68' rag-top "GT" with drum brakes... manual drums to boot. He states that the "marti report he has" says it's the only GT ordered in 68 where the original owner opted for drum brakes as a downgrade..... um this seems ludicrous, as disk...

1968 Car Won Best In Class DFW Autoshow

Really nice HCS! I'm glad you're little one is starting out young (someone's got to carry on the legacy once the big boys are gone) I really like the black out hood treatment on yours too. I have yet to see a GT/CS or HCS with it/them. I have been tossing the idea around to do it on my Cal, even...

For Sale 1968 Ford Mustang HCS (California Special) - $17790 (Langhorne, PA)

ya fellas I was joking about Bob haha, I've actually known Bobby since I was damn near in diapers. When I typed that, Bob had just actually left my house (we live a few blocks from each other, he was giving my Cal the Teets stamp-o-approval ) But I agree he is the main man to get to know...

    07 GT brakes on a 68?

If you can think of it, you can do it! : Travis Pastrana Aside from that, I remember seeing a article in 'Mustangs and Fast Fords' a few years back, where a guy took the entire drivetrain and suspension off a 04 termi-cobra and swapped it into his 67 fastback. To which I remember him saying...

For Sale 1968 Mustang California Special gt/cs - $35000 (Elk Grove)

I totally agree, what I mean is I like the 68 Shelby front ends just not on this car, I love the Shelby look on fastbacks and verts, but it just looks funny on this car (not sure why) I mean the green hornet looked awesome, and i think it was all in the stance, this one just sits weird

    For Sale **1968 mustang CA.Spec. GT/CS - $13900 (bell)

Wish silver frost was a carry over color to 68'....more-so, I wish it was a color option for the HCS/GT/CS  Agreed, clean car

For Sale 1968 Mustang California Special gt/cs - $35000 (Elk Grove)

This ones been posted before. Still don't know how this guy/gal feels this car is worth 35k... It is an "slightly decent resto" at best but the shelby front end is ugly IMO. Fully restored, correct HCS/GTCS are not even making this kinda money

    For Sale 1968 Cali spec

On a side note: Is it me, or do the smaller "stripe lines" that follow the larger stripe look separated too much? Maybe it's the cars contrast, but they seem really far apart

    For Sale 1968 hcs

Nice clean red on red HCS, with what looks to be some nice options. Doesnt appear to be registered (swear I've posted this one before, or at least someone else has) Nonetheless its a HCS  Btw, the owner pic towards the end, totally caught me off guard as it's not exactly what you'd expect...

    For Sale 1968 Cali spec

Looks pretty clean. The wheels are god-awful though, and couple other 'easy fix' items but, all-in-all, pretty clean cali... Wish it listed a vin though  On a plus side, looks like it only has 83 original mile, per the odometer in the pictures haha:cheesy...

For Sale 1967 High Country Special Mustang

This is a very clean, easily restorable hcs. The floor pans on this car still have factory overspray and the floors look brand new. It fires right up, engine is sound hell even the Transverse muffler and exhaust clamps are original. Six banger or not, this is a true diamond in the rough. I am...

    . Drag Radials

I can attest to these, I ran these on a 94' GT I once had awhile ago, and they were a perfect culmination of compound, grip, and are very forgiving under heavy launches. But of course, with every drag radial, they are useless in even damp roads
