    trans swap

Thanks for all the replies. I've found a couple Aod's on c/l. Most are just the trans. A couple have the torque converter and dip stick for between $300 & $400. Mileage unknown. Since I drive it as much as possible, I'm probably going to go with on of these or wait for the swap meet next weekend...

    trans swap

I'm starting the process of trying to determine which option would be best, and I can use any advise. I currently have an '69 FMX that is going south. starting to slip really bad from park to drive and reverse. I see 3 choices. 1) rebuild the fmx myself with a cost of approx. $100 for a...

    1968 side mirror question

I'm pretty sure the "sport mirrors" were '69 and up. '67 & '68 remote and standard are chrome. The '67 remote is different than '68 tho. it has a teardrop remote knob and the '68 has a ball type knob. Bret

. Kruise of Klamath - Oregon

I think this weekend is the Medford cruise. I was hoping to make it down but it's not going to happen this year. I just got back from Medford for my parents 50th. Next year, maybe I'll combine their anniversary and the cruise together. I haven't been on a drive of that distance with my car. Bret

    Dallas '68 GT/CS on eBay

Are the metal clips under the fog light posts the ones that are supposed to be under the stone guard? I don't care for the antenna on the rear quarter. Deluxe interior with no door pulls and standard arm rests. If your going to change it, do it all. My .02. Bret

    1968 Help Authenticating a GT/CS

Looks like mine does. Like someone took a pair of pliers and twisted out the center post for the stock tail lights. I don't think it has been replaced. As for the fenders, It's alot more involved than just the fender bolts. there's the obvious bolts on top and 1 behind the upper door hinge and...

. Seattle GT/CS family welcomes PMN to the Northwest!

Yes Robert, I added the tach myself. I haven't wired it in yet. I had it wired in until I kept blowing fuses, so I'm researching wiring diagrams. I thought about a tach dash, but I like my guages and clock. If I'd had time I would have crawled under Bills (Traveledgtcs) dash and checked out his...
