I was at a show one year and when we were leaving I saw one gentleman pull his battery out with one hand. I come to find out that when the old battery died he just cut the top off of the battery and cleaned it out and glued the top back on. So he used over the counter batteries for every day use.

When I was restoring my HCS ,the window wasn't a ford windshield. Paul Newitt informed me that the windshield is different than a 68 windshield???? I don;t know if he was pulling my leg or not. I replaced it with standard 68 window.

The Hershey museum has a station on display in the AACA museum. Plus a metal shop in the 1900 display. If you ever get to the east coast the museum is well worth it. AT the Carlisle show you can run across gas pumps with the glass dome and they run several thousand dollars.
