    Train Chasing...

Steve, that is known as "the high line", a former Western Pacific branch that provided a shortcut to Klamath and BN from WP's Feather River Route at Keddie. There is a famous & often photographed 'Y' shaped bridge there. Even before all the mergers, we used to see BN trains drop into Oroville...

    Train Chasing...

Wow Renee, You got some great shots! :-) No Mustang on this trip, Rich. There's often a need for 4WD in getting to some of these spots and I figured you guys would be mad if we boonie-crashed a CS :-O SD CASPCL, 844 burns oil & lots of it ;-)

...Thanks Rob, All good points and we'll give it a closer inspection. TJ had hopes of giving it a red paint job, adding duel exhaust & all that stuff. I'm inclined to leave it as is while replacing the SS wheels back to hubcaps as well as losing those orange plug wires and (kid looking) air...

...Less than 90K original miles, original paint, new top and rebuilt engine w/ about 200 miles, AC and rear defroster work beautifully. The convenience lights were shocking to see on the Marti as they were apparently removed at some point...

    In Sacramento this morning...

...Thanks all. It was an incredible era to say the least. It was also great of NASA to fly it around as they did. Huge crowds gathered in Sacramento and San Francisco and cheered. Lots of patriotism too!.. Neat stuff indeed :-)

Spooling up for the Air Races...

Thanks! Yes it's quite the deal to be able to get up close when the planes come by at 450 mph+ :-) Renee & TJ worked ramp security while I did pylon press. It's a real exciting and wonderful group to be associated with. I wish everyone could experience this...

i have a 1968 gtcs for sale it was rolled at 10mph

...What "gt/csj4" stated makes perfect sense. The prior registry had numerous clones and errors listed that were based on assumptions before Mike and the collective group took it over. We're lucky to have them! "bambam", you would do better to be as scientific and cooperative about letting...

1968 Fake 1967 California Special for sale by Dealer

...You wouldn't believe the folks who still try to say they once had a GT/CS, but it was a '69 or '70. Or for that matter, buying my first in 1978 and thinking it had to be a rare Shelby variant. We take for granted what we've learned here over the years and I hate to think how messed up it...

...That's very a true and good point. Many who see us at shows are likewise unaware. Always best to politely educate them rather than accuse them of fraud off the bat...

... I found this on a Facebook page with the following blurb attached. We have far better information on this site, but I thought the section highlighted would be of interest to Rob Campbell. JULY 30, 1968 --- THIS DAY IN FORD HISTORY: It was this day back in 1968 that marked the end of...
